Renée M. Sgroi is a poet and writer, and the current president of the Brooklin Poetry Society. She is an Associate Member of the League of Canadian Poets, a member of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers, a member of The Ontario Poetry Society, and the Writers’ Community of Durham Region. She recently edited the anthology, Written Tenfold (Poetry Friendly Press). Her work has appeared in Canadian poetry journals such as Prairie Journal, Prairie Fire, The Banister, and Verse Afire, as well as poetry anthologies. She is currently writing a chapbook focused on desire, and completing a novel manuscript about identity.
